This page is dedicated to some of the dogs that make up the foundation of my kennel. I have had a long belief that breeding can and often does repeat itself. If you look at some of these pictures and then look at some of the pups that I have produced over the years, it will be remarkable the similarities in dogs separated by 4, 5, 6, yes even 8 generations. The proof is not just in the images, but in the performance arena also. I have to say I like a certain look, and some have told me that the breed is more that the "head' but I do have a strong desire for a stunning looking dog, but, with that said, they have to be structurally sound to work all day. I rarely show in conformation but as a breeder I do try to produce dogs worthy of a championship. It is just that I have so much more fun in the performance events and so my dogs have more performance titles than Championships.

HADO-BAR FARMS was 'born' in August 1989, when Tom, Judi, and Eric Bigham moved from their 6-acre suburban home in Elyria, Ohio to 18.6 acres of 'God's country' in Nova, Ohio.

Named in honor of Judi's first Australian Shepherd, (ASCA)CH. HADO-BAR JILL, CD, STD-d (ducks), HADO-BAR FARMS has become a premier all-breed stockdog training and event facility, hosting AHBA, AKC, and ASCA events, as well as Introduction To Herding clinics and Specialty events.
